Room rates are $80.00 per night. Rooms are single or double accupancy. Special Occasion rates are $100.00 per night (Thunder in the Valley, Music Festivals, War Memorial Events, Weddings)
Cable TV in each bedroom and free wifi.
This is a non smoking home with designated smoking areas outside.
Continential Breakfast is available from 7am to 9:30 am.
Spend your day discovering nearby Johnstown Flood Museum, Discovery Center, Incline Plane, hiking at Laurel Ridge State Park or enjoy a day of golf at our local golf course, Sunnehanna. Or enjoy an afternoon antiquing in nearby towns. We have excellent access to local hunting, fishing and snowmobiling in the surrounding areas. A drive on the beautiful Laurel Highlands Scenic Byway can lead you to the Flight 93 Memorial or Frank Lloyd Wrights Fallingwater. Or just enjoy your time quietly relaxing by the fireplace, read a book from our library or share conversation with other guests or your host and hostess.

- During my search for something on my 10th wedding anniversary I was delighted and shocked to find a Bed and Breakfast in my hometown of Johnstown. This didn't seem to be true. This place, New Life Transformations is progressive, forward thinking and on the cutting edge. We were thrilled to find this place. I could drop off my kids at my family's house and we could go there in downtown. The house was fantastic. The decorations accented the beautiful woodwork of the vintage Victorian! Nancy was the ultimate hostess. She offered us a key to the place so we could come and go as we pleased (so very nice!). Our bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows were like clouds. We got under them immediately. We were also greeted with chocolates, flowers, fruit and then sparking juice for the New Years/Anniversary celebration. Wine was offered but we declined. We had our own bathroom, TV, and use of the sitting room and any other place we wanted to go in the house. Breakfast was served on fine china and it included everything you could ever want. I thank Nancy so much for this wonderful place in my hometown. I just now wish I was there to enjoy it more often. I highly recommend this wonderful place.

Standard Deposit Policy
A deposit equal to the greater of a one-night’s stay or 25 % of the total stay will be required when a reservation is made make. The balance due will be on the day of arrival.
Standard Cancellation Policy
A cancellation up to 14 days prior to check-in date will receive a deposit refund less a $50.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations 7 days or less prior to check-in date will be charged for the full reservation. No credit for late arrival or early departures. Refunds of deposit will be issued within 2 weeks of cancellation acknowledgment via email. No cancellation by PHONE - all cancellation MUST be in writing via email.
Special Event Deposit Policy
A deposit of 25 % of the total stay will be due at time of reservation. The balance due will be 60 days prior to arrival date. No cancellations or refunds after the final payment.
Special Event Cancellation Policy
If you cancel this reservation up to 60 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded minus a $100.00 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cancellations after 60 days prior to your arrival date unless we are able to re-book the room. Guests are responsible for the entire reservation. No credit for late arrival or early departures under any circumstances
Group Reservations
We welcome groups for two, three, and all four of our guest rooms. However, since we only have four guest rooms, we must require a 1 night or 25% deposit whichever is greater at the time of the reservation and full payment 30 days prior to the arrival date of the stay. Any cancellation prior to 30 days, the deposit will be refunded minus the $50.00 cancellation fee per room. After 30 days, there is no refund unless we can re-book all the rooms for the full price.
Check In/Out
Check in time is 4:00pm.
Any check in time before or after 4:00pm must be pre-arranged with the Innkeeper.
Check out time is 11:00am or before.
Smoking Policy
All guestrooms and indoor areas of the B&B are non-smoking. . Smoking is allowed on the side porch and in the courtyard only.
Pets
There are one very friendly small dog (Layla) on the property. However, she never goes in our guestrooms. Guests’ pets are not allowed on the premises.
Children
Children over 12 years old are welcome.
Accessibility
All of our rooms are on the second floor of the house.
Occupancy
Quoted rates are based on single or double occupancy. The Blue Room, Brides Room, and Lilac room can handle an extra person or two if necessary.
An extra charge is $50 per person during standard and summer periods and $89 a night during special event periods (Thunder in the Valley, Music Festivals, War memorial Events).
BC Manor (New Life Transformations) is privately owned and owner-occupied. The owners reserve the right to refuse service or accommodations to anyone for any lawful reason. Any behavior on the part of guests that affect the safety or peaceful enjoyment of other guests may result in eviction without refund. Guests’ pets are not allowed on the premises.
